What brought you to Ames First UMC?
The appointive cabinet of believed that my specialty in spiritual formation, small group ministry, and pastoral care would be an asset to ministry in this church.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the Quad City Area…going back and forth between Iowa and Illinois.

What prior (and/or current) jobs have you had?
I have served several churches and cooperative parishes in pastor and youth pastor roles.

What (if anything) would you like to share about your education?
I am a graduate of Iowa State University—Go Cyclones! I completed my seminary education at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.

What is your favorite thing about Ames First UMC?
I love the children’s ministry at Ames First UMC! There is always something going on for my 3 kids.

What is your favorite something else?
My favorite place to work/sleep/read/be is my indoor hammock.

Is there anything else you would like folks to know?
I enjoy creating stained glass.
